Do I need to be home for Christmas tree delivery?

Learn whether you need to be home for Christmas tree delivery and what to do if you’ll be away during your delivery window.

It’s best to be home for your Christmas tree delivery, especially if you’ve selected setup service.

What if I won’t be home?

If you won’t be home, please let us know if you would like our driver to leave your tree outside your home. If you know at the time of order placement, you can leave a note in your delivery instructions. Otherwise please reach out to our team at [email protected] to notify us it's ok to leave your tree outside.

If you expect to be away for more than an hour, please leave a sturdy bucket filled with water outside so the driver can place the freshly cut trunk in water until you return.

This helps keep the fresh-cut base from drying out before you can place the tree in your stand.

What if I selected setup service?

If you selected setup service, someone should be home to let the driver inside and show them where you would like the tree set up.

If no one is available during your scheduled delivery window, the driver may not be able to complete the setup.

Will I be charged for redelivery if I’m not home?

If you are not home during your scheduled delivery window and the driver is unable to complete your delivery, a redelivery fee may apply to cover the additional driver time, labor, and transportation.
